Connor is a Clinical Psychologist who works in both private practice and public health. His work is grounded in creating a warm and non-judgmental therapeutic space, that is tailored to his clients' personal needs.
In his therapeutic work, Connor employs evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. His work is also guided by principles from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Connor has experience working with trauma-related disorders (e.g., PTSD), panic disorder, and sleep disorders (particularly insomnia) and can offer a 6–10-week CBT-I program.
Connor has experience in working in a dual diagnosis rehabilitation centre and has an interest in working with substance use disorders that present alongside mental health challenges (e.g., recovering from alcohol, amphetamine, opioid use disorders). Additionally, Connor's experience in acute medical hospitals mean that he is well-versed in working with clients who are experiencing challenges with chronic pain, grief, aging, and adjustment related to health concerns (such as a cancer diagnosis).
